Canyon Reef

This site is so-named due to the series of coral fingers running perpendicular to the shoreline, creating a series of cuts in the reef or 'canyons.' These coral fingers descend from the ironshore and the cuts are up to 25 feet from top to bottom and create the effect of having a reef wall on both sides. Keep an eye out for the common octopus, spotted drum fish, trumpet fish and banded coral shrimp.
