Happy New Year from the Luna Beach Dive Team! Spotted a rare Queen Trigger fish today along with several Green and Hawksbill Sea Turtles and huge schools of Creole Wrasse. Yesterday, we brought the new year in with an awesome Eagle Ray siting at Halfmoon Bay Wall. Looking forward to another great year of diving.

Congrats to Paula – our latest Open Water diver – for her first dive as a certified diver today. Her and her son Ivan were greeted by a very friendly Hawksbill Sea Turtle, a pair of White Spotted Filefish, a Black Grouper at a cleaning station, and a massive school of Creole Wrasse! Just another day in paradise.

We want you to know that when you come to dive with us at Luna Beach Resort, our main concern is your safety and then we will make sure everything is convenient and comfortable for you.

We will make sure you are in safe hands and we have all safety measures in play. Our guides will be keep watch of you in our small groups of no more than 6, and show you things you never would have seen without them.

With our LARGE Dive Center you will not feel crowded or uncomfortable, we have a large dry room that is very secure. The rinse tank and shower is very convenient to all of this area. We have all of the newest rental equipment and we make sure everything is serviced at all times. If you are taking a class the class room is large and airy, so you will be able to concentrate on the course with no distractions.

On our boats you will not be crowded, there is room for everyone and with our boat being extra wide you will not be stepping on each others fins. The short walk from the dive Center to our private dock where the boat is, is less then 30 seconds away. So you don’t have to worry about a long hike or swim to the boat.

FREE internet

You can feel safe in bringing your own lap top to Luna Beach Resort. We will give you access to free WiFi and then our safes in the rooms are large enough to hold your laptop, so you never have to worry about anything.

If you do not want to bring a laptop with you we do have a dedicated computer in the front office just for our guests. There is a nominal fee for using that, but only to control the time spent on it by one person, so others will have their opportunity to use it also.

Generators

In case you were wondering if we had any back up generators, yes we do! We have 3 large generators, in insulated quiet rooms. So no worries when the power goes off, we have you covered. You will have power on at all times, day or night. Then you will not have the noise or fumes from normal generators just out in the open air.

ALSO – if you are coming from the US – the resort has the same plug ins as in the US, so no adsapters needed.
