We’ve asked each of them to introduce themselves:
LUNA BEACH RESORT DIVE SHOP MANAGER/INSTRUCTOR – ARITZ
I´m Aritz , from The Basque Country, Spain. I got involved in diving in the first moment that I tried in the Cantabric sea in North Spain with 5 meters visibility and 15 degrees, and some years ago I decided to change my teaching career for an underwater teaching career. Since that time I have been diving in many different places like Thailand, Indonesia, Mozambique, Egypt or Mexico and I still have feelings like the first time after more than 3000 dives. Diving has become my way of life.
Can’t wait to share with you my love of diving and showing you the beautiful underwater world of Roatan.
Luna Beach Resort Instructor – Adam
Adam Baxter, originally from Victoria, BC, Canada was certified as an Open Water Diver in 2006 and immediately became an avid cold-water diver – accumulating over 150 fun-dives in his first year. Quickly moving through the Padi ranks became a Divemaster in 2008 with over 350 fun-dives. Adam has worked as a Divemaster in the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest and also dived in Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. Adam first joined Luna Beach Resort as a Divemaster in 2008 and fell in love with the beautiful reef and the wonderful people of Roatan. Adam returned to Roatan and Luna Beach Resort in November 2010 and is now an Open Water Scuba Instructor. He has a passion and enthusiasm for diving and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.
Luna Beach Resort Captain – Fermin
Fermin is our captain and the good soul of the Luna Beach Dive Shop. He has known Luna Beach from the very beginning. He came to Roatan at the age of five and developed a strong love for the ocean and Honduras scuba diving.
For more than six years he has worked as a captain on the waters of Roatan. Since he is a skilled diver as well, he is not only familiar with all dive sites at the surface, he also knows how the places look underwater. Fermin is such a friendly, funny and helpful guy that everyone literally has to love him.
