Certification involves the following coursework

PADI Certification 5 academic sessions 5 confined water sessions 4 open water sessions Multiple choice exam on completion of academics

SSI Certification** 6 academic sessions 2–5 confined water sessions 5 open water sessions A multiple choice exam on completion of academics Completion of the SSI Training Guide

Courses take 3–5 days depending on the number of students and capability of students. The training guide can be read ahead of time, although it is not necessary. Upon completion of the required coursework, you will leave with a full certification and a dive log. Your certification card will be mailed directly to your home address.
