FREE internet

Friday, April 15th, 2011 Posted in Luna Blog | Comments Off

You can feel safe in bringing your own lap top to Luna Beach Resort.  We will give you access to free WiFi and then our safes in the rooms are large enough to hold your laptop, so you never have to worry about anything.

If you do not want to bring a laptop with you we do have a dedicated computer in the front office just for our guests.  There is a nominal fee for using that, but only to control the time spent on it by one person, so others will have their opportunity to use it also.

Come and stay connected without any worries.

Generators

Monday, April 11th, 2011 Posted in Luna Blog | Comments Off

In case you were wondering if we had any back up generators, yes we do!  We have 3 large generators, in insulated quiet rooms.  So no worries when the power goes off, we have you covered.  You will have power on at all times, day or night.  Then you will not have the noise or fumes from normal generators just out in the open air.

ALSO – if you are coming from the US – the resort has the same plug ins as in the US, so no adsapters needed.

WORKING HARD

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 Posted in Luna Blog | Comments Off

One of the first things you will notice when you arrive at Luna Beach Resort is how clean and beautiful the grounds are.  We have a full time yard crew working to maintain and constantly improve our 33 acres.  We rake the beach every day and make sure  there isn’t any trash on the Beach in Front or anywhere at the resort.  Our fresh water, chlorinated pool is cleaned and tested everyday.  Now the next thing you will notice is the care we take in maintaining the whole resort  so you will feel comfortable and safe at all times.  Your accommodations will be spotlessly clean, with our daily maid service it will stay that way.

Luna Beach Resort’s Beach

Enjoy the quiet and clean beach in front of the resort.  No cruise ship crowds or anyone trying to sell you anything.  We rake the beach daily and there are comfortable chaises on the beach for you to enjoy.  The beach is closed off to everyone except foot traffic.  We have a full time guard out front to make you feel secure and help you with moving your chaise or anything he can do to help.  We do spray in certain areas to help control the sand fleas, twice a day with a natural bug repellent, but remember you should also keep your repellent on just in case.  Those darn fleas like some more then others.

The fish on the pic is a speared Lionfish, photo taken by Vytas Kerpe a recent photo contest winner.   As you may know Lionfish are an invasive species and we are doing everything we can to control them although they are reproducing so fast.
